Myntra Blink Go Fitness Band with Heart Rate Sensor Launched: Price and Specifications

Myntra has decided to give wearables a shot with the launch of new Blink Go fitness band. It is the first-ever band from the Indian fashion e-commerce site, and runs a custom software platform called ‘Myntra Wearable Platform’. (हिंदी में पढ़े)

The software platform is open for all and third-party device makers can also use it. As per Myntra, its wearable platform allows wearable devices to discover and communicate better with each other. The development comes months after Myntra acquired Bangalore-based smart wearables startup, Witworks.

Myntra Blink Go Specifications and Features

The Blink Go is a water-resistant fitness band that can monitor your heart rate and is compatible with Android 5.1+ and iOS 10+ devices. Just like other fitness bands, the Myntra Blink Go also pairs with phones via Bluetooth 4.0+ with BLE.

The Myntra Blink Go sports a colored display, designer straps, and houses 100mAh battery capable of lasting 3-5 days. It also has an activity tracker that enables users to keep track of their step count, distance, calories and sleep and a leaderboard.

Other than that, the Blink Go also features Sessions mode, custom alarms, timer, Find my phone and Sedentary reminders along with notification alert feature for calls, WhatsApp, Message, and Mails on your phone.

Myntra Blink Go Price and Availability

The Myntra Blink Go Fitness is priced at an introductory price of Rs 1,679 and it is available for sale on Myntra.com.

Commenting on the launch, Jeyandran Venugopal, Chief Technology Officer, Myntra said:

“The intent behind this platform is to not only allow our wearable products to co-exist and leverage each other’s data to provide meaningful insights but also enable external developers to build apps or device manufacturers to integrate their own offerings to the platform.”
