MWC 2018: Asus Zenfone Max (M1) with Infinity Display and 4000mAh Battery Launched

Asus globally announced its Zenfone Max (M1) alongside the launch of its much-awaited Zenfone 5 series phones at the MWC 2018. The key highlights of the Zenfone Max (M1) are its full vision display, massive battery support, and dual camera setup on the rear panel.

The phone is very similar to the Russian variant of ZenFone Max Plus (M1) that was launched last year, except for the fact that the new model has a different Qualcomm chipset and has a slightly smaller display.

Asus Zenfone Max (M1) Features

As for the specifications, the Asus Zenfone Max Plus (M1) features a near bezel-less 5.7-inch 18:9 HD+ (1440 ×720 pixels) display and 2.5D curved glass on top. The phone is powered by either Snapdragon 425 or the Snapdragon 430 chipset and coupled with up to 3GB of RAM and 64GB storage. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot.

In optics, the phone sports a 13-megapixel primary sensor along with an 8-megapixel 120-degree wide-angle lens. Both sensors are assisted by f/2.0 aperture lens, dual-LED flash, and PDAF. For selfies, the Zenfone Max (M1) sports an 8-megapixel sensor, with f/2.2 aperture lens. However, Asus said that the front camera specifications can vary as per region.

The Asus Zenfone Max (M1) comes running on Android 8.0 Oreo-based ZenUI 5.0 out of the box and is aided by 4000mAh battery. Connectivity options on the same include dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the rear panel.

Asus Zenfone Max (M1) Price and Availability

There is no official information regarding Asus Zenfone Max M1 price as of now, but what we do know is that the phone will come in Deepsea Black, Sunlight Gold and Ruby Red colors option. India price of Asus Zenfone Max (M1) is expected to be around Rs. 15,000.
