Military-Grade Huami Amazfit T-Rex Smartwatch to Launch in India Soon

Known for smart home devices and wearables, Huami is gearing to launch its Amazfit T-Rex smartwatch in the second week of June in India. The teaser was published on Amazon and reveals detailed features and design of the smartwatch.

California-based Huami has extensively worked to bring-in cool features before rivals. This time the company claims that Amazfit T-Rex has passed 12 regulatory parameters to meet the military-grade quality. The smartwatch was first introduced at CES 2020 along with Amazfit Bip S smartwatch.

Amazfit T-Rex Features

The rugged design body of Amazfit T-Rex can survive extremely low and high temperatures. As tested by the manufacturer, T-Rex is resistant for heat up to 70℃, for cold up to -40℃, can withstand in humidity for up to 240 hours, and passed salt spray test for 96 hours.

Amazfit T-Rex has a 1.3-inch AMOLED screen that supports always-on display. There is Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer on the top. The smartwatch sports 28nm Sony GPS chip to offer a dual-satellite positioning system. It is rated waterproof to 5ATM which can sustain in up to 50 meters deep water. Users can track up to 14 professional sports, sleep cycles, and more.

The battery of Amazfit T-Rex lasts for up to 20 days on a single charge (as Huami claims). In basic watch mode with few restrictions, it can be used for 66 days. With continuous GPS use, the Watch lasts for 20 hours. The smartwatch is home to an optical rate sensor, a 3-axis accelerator, an ambient light sensor, and a geomagnetic sensor. The Amazfit T-Rex sports Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS + GLONASS for connectivity.

Amazfit T-Rex Price and Availability

Amazfit T-Rex will be made available in Army Green, Gun Grey, Rock Black, Camo Green, and Khaki. In China, T -Rex launched at RMB 799 (around Rs 8,400). The India price will be somewhere around China’s price but you will need for the official launch for final confirmation.
