Huawei India is now selling its Huawei Watch GT 2e smartwatch in India. The smartwatch was originally launched earlier in March globally and finally enters the Indian market as the COVID-19 lockdown eases.

The Huawei Watch GT 2e starts at Rs 11,999 in India. The watch arrives in three strap colors- Graphite Black, Mint Green, and Lava Red. To attract customers, the brand is offering Bluetooth Earphones for free to those who make a purchase before May 21. Additionally, buyers can avail 6 months No Cost EMI. The smartwatch is currently available officially on Amazon India and Flipkart.

Huawei Watch GT 2e Features
The Huawei Watch GT 2e features a 1.39-inch AMOLED HD display with 454 x 454 pixels supporting slide and touch gestures. The body is crafted in a stainless steel frame for durability. Huawei’s wearable chipset Kirin A1 powers the device and is assisted by 4GB memory. For connectivity, the watch supports Bluetooth 5.1 and is compatible with Android 4.1+ and iOS 9.0 devices.
The watch is certified with a 5ATM rating to offer water-resistant for 50 meters. The company claims Watch GT 2e can last for 14-days on a single charge.
For an upgrade to the old Huawei Watch GT 2 [Review], the new 2e version gets concealed crown-like buttons for a sportier look. For the first time, Huawei has employed SpO2 monitoring (blood oxygen saturation) that shows symptoms like lack of energy, fatigue, and light-headedness when the SpO2 level is at a low mark. Other key features include heart rate monitoring, stress monitoring, sleep monitoring, pressure level monitoring, and GPS/GLONASS positioning.

Huawei Watch GT 2e supports tracking of 15 professional sports like rock climbing, hiking, cycling, swimming, running, walking, surfing, street dancing, and elliptical to name a few. The sensors employed include an accelerometer sensor, gyroscope sensor, geomagnetic sensor, optical heart rate sensor, ambient light sensor, air pressure sensor, and capacitive sensor. The watch sends notifications for calls, messages, emails, and calendar events. The weather forecasts, alarms, timers, and a flashlight are among other extras.
