OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro to go on sale in India starting May 29

OnePlus has finally revealed OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro availability details in India. Both 8-series smartphones will go on sale starting May 29. The OnePlus 8 series availability, sale and offer details were posted on OnePlus’ Red Cable Club community page.

OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro India prices, launch offers and availability

The OnePlus 8 comes in three variants. The OnePlus 8 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage option retail in India for Rs 41,999. The cheapest OnePlus 8 is only limited to Amazon India. Other two variants of OnePlus 8 – the 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB variants are priced at Rs 44,999 and Rs 49,999, respectively.

The OnePlus 8 Pro, on the other hand, is offered with 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB for Rs 54,999 and Rs 59,999, respectively.

OnePlus 8 5G and 8 Pro 5G Highlights

If you recall, both the OnePlus 8 series phones were announced about a month back. While the OnePlus 8 Pro model gets to flaunt a 6.78-inch QHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a higher 120Hz screen refresh rate, the vanilla variant houses a 6.55-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

OnePlus has made its 8 series future-ready with 5G network support. The OnePlus 8 duo are driven by the Snapdragon 865 5G mobile platform which is accompanied by X55 modem, Adreno 650GPU. They are offered with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Popular OxygenOS runs the show on both devices.

Optics-wise, the OnePlus 8 features a triple-rear setup featuring a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro lens. The Pro version, on the other hand, boasts off a quad rear camera setup including a 48MP Sony IMX689 sensor, a 48MP wide-angle lens, an 8MP telephoto lens, and a 5MP colour filter. A 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor for selfies is common between the two OnePlus 8’s.

The handset ships with a 4,300mAh inbuilt battery and supports Warp Charge 30T fast charging. The 8 Pro houses a bigger 4,510mAh battery with 30W fast wired and wireless charging.
