The OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro were recently unveiled globally via a soft-launch event. The Chinese company, however, didn’t reveal the prices for India, one of the prominent markets. Now, OnePlus has announced the prices and these are much lower than prices for the US markets.
OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro India Prices
The company has tweeted the starting price for the new OnePlus 8 and then took to its Red Cable Club to announce prices for all variants of both devices. The price for the entry model of the OnePlus 8 is Rs. 41,999 roughly around $550 (significantly lesser than $699 US price). Though the catch is, the OnePlus 8 base model with 6GB RAM is exclusive to the Indian market.
Focussing on other variants, OnePlus 8 with 8GB + 128GB is priced at Rs. 44,999 and 12GB + 256GB at Rs. 49,999. However, both variants are still at lower prices. The OnePlus 8 base variant will be made available on Amazon India only while other variants will hit both online and offline shelves.
India will get the OnePlus 8 Pro, the upgraded version, at the price of Rs. 54,999 (roughly $720) for 8GB + 128GB and the 12GB + 256GB variant will cost at Rs. 59,999 (roughly $785). Practically, Indian consumers will enjoy the top model of the OnePlus 8 Pro at a lower cost than the parallel non-Pro version in the US.
