A few months back, Micromax introduced the most affordable 18:9 or Full-view display phone, the Canvas Infinity, in India priced under 10,000 INR. Now, the domestic smartphone brand has launched an upgraded version of the same, the Canvas Infinity Pro, that also adds dual selfie cameras to the mix.

Canvas Infinity Pro Specifications and Features

The Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro makes several changes, but the key highlight of the handset, the ‘Infinity’ display, remains unchanged. We’d have liked a full HD resolution on the pro model.

The most noticeable change is the extra 8MP sensor on the front, alongside the primary 20MP selfie camera, for Portrait mode (blurred background) in selfies.

Since most of the fascia is screen, the fingerprint sensor accompanies the rear 16MP camera. The handset now has Snapdragon 430 chipset (vs Snapdragon 425 in the Canvas Infinity) paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. There is a dedicated SD card slot too (accepts up to 128GB).

Other Canvas Infinity Pro features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB OTG, Android 7.1 Nougat, and 3000mAh battery.

Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro Price and Availability

The Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting mid-night December 6 for 13,999 INR. It will be available only in Black color option.

“We understand that in the mid-premium range smartphones, consumers demand a complete package – a smartphone that has the best in class cameras, screen that is large enough for content viewing, a battery that doesn’t drain in a day and of course aesthetics that are the head turner. We truly believe that Infinity Pro is that package and our consumers will be delighted with the pricing as well. We are known to bring revolutionary products to the range of millions of Indians and this is another step in that direction,” said Shubhodhip Pal, Chief Operating Officer, Micromax Informatics.
