Meizu Legent Leaks Suggest 2K Display And 16MP Camera

After launching its flagship smartphone Pro 6 Plus a while back, Meizu is reportedly working on a new premium smartphone codenamed “Legent”. The new leaks posted on the popular Chinese social media site Weibo gave us a sneak peek in to what Meizu has lined up in store.

The sketches of the phone which were leaked on the Weibo site which clearly shows all sides of the device. The phone likely to come with curved edges and home button embedded fingerprint sensor. What’s really seem interesting the sketches is the camera module which can be slid up to double up as a selfie camera. In the past companies like Oppo have made an attempt with such design but it failed became mainstream.

As per the leaks, the Meizu Legent is likely to boast a 5.7-inch QHD 2K super AMOLED double curved display with 3D press support and 2.5D glass. Meizu to rely on Samsung Exynos 8893 octa-core chipset ticking at 2.7GHz for all the heavy lifting.

It is said to come with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB / 128 GB UFS2.0 internal storage along with dual SIM card support. For shutterbugs, it features 16 MP Sony’s latest IMX438 sensor with f /1.7 aperture and laser auto-focus. The same camera works as the selfie shooter. The smartphone is likely to come out of the box running on Android 7.0 based Flyme 6 OS. It is aided by a 3400mAh battery which may come bundled with a 30W m-charge 4.0.

At present, the credibility of these leaks is questionable so it may not turn out complete true so we advise you to it with a grain of salt.
