Marshall Motif II A.N.C With Dual Connectivity And Quick Charging Launched In India

The Stockholm-based music equipment manufacturer Marshall has launched Motif II A.N.C, a premium TWS in India. It comes as the successor to the Motif ANC from 2021. The device offers active noise cancelation, an ambient sound mode, and up to 30 hours of playback with the charging case, among other features. Competing with products like the AirPods and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, the Marshall Motif II A.N.C will soon be available in the country.

The earbuds look similar to the AirPods Pro, implying that they carry a semi-in-ear design. They have an all-black exterior. The touch-sensitive area on the earbuds and the front of the charging case has the company’s branding in white. The noise-canceling earbuds feature an IPX4 water resistance rating. Last but not least, the company has used 70% post-consumer recycled plastic to make the product.

Marshall Motif II A.N.C Specifications And Features

Out of the box, the Marshall Motif II A.N.C come with 6mm dynamic drivers with a sensitivity of 106 dB (+/- 2 dB). The company claims that the earbuds provide concert-quality sound. Users also get active noise cancelation for cutting out background noise while listening to their favorite tracks. Then there’s the Transparency Mode that enables users to be aware of their environment without removing the earbuds.

The Marshall Motif II A.N.C. offers Wind Noise Resistance for taking wireless calls, which filters out any background noise or disturbance during calls. The earbuds have touch controls for controlling playback, managing calls, and adjusting volume. Based on Bluetooth v5.3, the wireless earphones support multiple codecs like LC3, AAC, MPEG-2, SBC+, etc. It works with the Marshall app on both Android and iOS devices.

Regarding battery life, the earphones are touted to last for up to nine hours without noise cancelation and up to six hours with noise cancelation. However, the USB-C charging case increases the total backup to 43 hours (without ANC) and 30 hours (with ANC). In day-to-day life, a user’s actual battery life depends upon the usage pattern, which includes the volume levels, call duration, and the sound mode.

As mentioned earlier, the TWS earbuds compete with the likes of Apple’s AirPods and Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. Although there are options that provide similar features at a more affordable price, Marshall’s premium earbuds will cost Rs. 19,999 and will be available starting September 12, 2023, in India.
