LeTv Max will go official in India on 20 Jan, Le 1s is coming too

After indulging in an extensive period of  marketing gimmicks, previews and promotions across the country the Chinese internet giant Letv is  now ready to take that final leap and officially foray into the Indian market. The company has started rolling out press invites for a 20 Jan event where Letv Max will be launched. According to an insider, Letv Max won’t be alone at the launch event, it will be accompanied by Letv Le 1S.

For past couple of months, Letv continues to hold its ‘superfans’ meets throughout the country. As per the original plans, Letv Max was scheduled for an official launch on January 5. However, due to some technical issues with Indian Customs department, Letv was forced to postpone its launch event for mid-January.

The Le Max phablet houses a gigantic 6.33-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) resolution display and has a metal exterior with minimum bezel. It features a 64-bit 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset and 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The smartphone features a 21-Megapixel Sony IMX230 sensor at the back, which is coupled with optical image stabilization (OIS), dual-LED flash and a f/2.0 aperture lens. Letv has taken a leaf out of HTC book and placed a 4-UltraPixel camera at the front for selfies lovers. The Smartphone runs on the EUI which is based on Andriod 5.0.

On the other hand, Le 1S sports 5.5-inch full HD TFT LCD display and is powered by MediaTek Helio X10 Octa-core CPU with 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage and a 3000 mAh battery. Like Letv Max, Le 1s also sports a fingerprint sensor at the back.
