Lenovo K3 Note goes offline with a new identity – Lenovo A7000 Turbo

Lenovo has been playing its card very cleverly. After registering unprecedented (as far as Lenovo portfolio is concerned) success with K3 Note in online space, company has smartly decided re-brand the phone as Lenovo A7000 Turbo for offline retail.  The Chinese smartphone maker has priced it at Rs. 10,999 and it will be available on offline retailers and at official Lenovo online store starting from January 13.

Pushing online products in offline distribution pipes is not new for Lenovo. With the arrival of A6000 Plus – A6000 went offline, After the descent of K3 Note, A7000 went offline, and now when the company is all set to unleash K4 Note, it only made sense to push K3 Note, or the rebranded version of it, offline.

The Lenovo A7000 Turbo edition features specs identical to K3 Note. It supports both the 4G LTE frequencies (1800MHz and 2300 MHz) and is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 processor ticking at 1.7 GHz. A 2GB of RAM is there to ensures everything runs smooth on the device.

It comes equipped with a 5.5-inch sharp display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels packing is 401ppi pixels in each inch.  The Lenovo A7000 Turbo runs on the Android 5.0 Lolipop which is layered with Lenovo’s Vibe UI 2.0. To power up all the hardware, Lenovo phablet features a 2900mAh battery, which as per the company can deliver talk time up 39 hours on 2G networks.

Recently, Lenovo also launched a Vibe K4 Note with high expectations in New Delhi. Like K3 Note, the Lenovo K4 Note will only be online exclusive. However, we can expect from Lenovo replicate this Turbo strategy with K4 Note as well depending upon its success. The Lenovo K4 Note will go on a flash sale on Amazon India on January 19.  If reports are to be believed, Amazon has received more than 2lakhs registration for K4 Note.
