Lenovo Smart Clock Essential has made its entry to India. It was originally introduced to the European market back in September 2020. The highlights of the new connected digital clock include time, weather, and temperature display, Google Assistant integration, and induction of Hindi commands for the first time.
Lenovo Smart Clock Essential Price and Availability
Lenovo has set the price of Smart Clock Essential at INR 4,499 in India – lower than the previous version of Lenovo Smart Clock (review). The smart device is already available for online purchase through Lenovo’s official website and Flipkart in Grey color option. It will soon hit the offline market.

Lenovo Smart Clock Essential Features
The Lenovo Smart Clock Essential features a 4-inch easy-to-read LED display powered by an Amlogic A113X processor. Additionally, it gets 4GB RAM and 512MB storage capacity. The smart clock sports a minimalistic design to blend easily in a variety of home decor.
Lenovo has equipped the Smart Clock Essential with WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 to connect with smartphones. It packs dual microphones to get the voice commands from Google Assistant even with Hindi support. The company claims it to compatible with over 40,000 devices. However, the mics can be disabled through the provided button when not in use.

The physical configuration of the Smart Clock Essential includes a 1.5W speaker that can produce up to 3W sound output at its peak power. The clock can be used as a speaker playing music from connected smartphones. You can also cast videos on a smart TV using voice command.

Lenovo Smart Clock Essential can be conveniently used to set alarms, check the weather, control smart home appliances, and all with voice commands. The inbuilt night-light has a brightness of about 31 Lumens to let roam inside your home without turning on the room lights. It has two buttons for volume control, a power port, and a USB 2.0 port to work as a charger.
