After laying low for a while, troubled Chinese smartphone maker LeEco quietly launched a new smartphone – LeEco Le Pro3 Elite which is rather a ‘lite’ variant of Le Pro3 that launched last year.

That’s because the Le Pro3 Elite replaces the Snapdragon 821 SoC in its predecessor with Snapdragon 820 and also ditches NFC connectivity. And at CNY1699, it’s also cheaper than the LePro 3 that currently retails for CNY 1899 at LeMall in China.

Rest of the sepcs remain same as the Le Pro3.

Besides the last generation Qualcomm chip, the handset includes 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The 5.5-inch display has 1080p full HD resolution and reflects LeEco’s own EUI interface (Marshmallow based).

Notable perks include 4070mAh battery, 3-months subscription of LeEco’s content services, 16MP primary camera, USB Type-C port, and Dual SIM 4G VoLTE support.

The LePro 3 Elite looks like a blast from last year, and at these prices, there isn’t much reason to complain.
