Lava Yuva 2 Pro Smartphone with Helio G37 and Glass Back goes sale on Amazon

Lava announced the Lava Yuva 2 Pro, an entry-level smartphone tailored for the Indian market, in February. Initially, the device was only available through Lava India’s online store and offline outlets. However, as of today at 12 pm (local time), customers can now purchase the phone via Amazon India.

The Yuva 2 Pro will retail for Rs 7,999 on Amazon. As an added incentive, Lava has collaborated with the EdTech platform Doubtnut to offer free educational resources valued at up to Rs 12,000 to buyers in grades 9 through 12. The phone is offered in three hues: Glass White, Glass Green, and Glass Lavender.

Lava Yuva 2 Pro specifications

The Lava Yuva 2 Pro boasts a 6.5-inch LCD panel with a resolution of HD+ and a pixel density of 269 ppi, complemented by a 60Hz refresh rate. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The phone’s rear panel accommodates a 13-megapixel primary camera, as well as two VGA cameras.

Under the hood, the Yuva 2 Pro runs on the Helio G37 chipset and packs 4GB of RAM. It offers 64GB of onboard storage, as well as 3GB of virtual RAM. The phone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging via its USB-C port.

The Yuva 2 Pro runs an almost unadulterated version of Android 12 and includes the ability to record calls anonymously. Other features on the device include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone is also equipped with a glass back.
