The Chinese smartphone manufacturer iQOO is about to unveil its next flagship, the iQOO 13, on October 30, 2024. Ahead of the official launch, there has been speculation about its performance, camera options, massive battery, and fast charging. However, the latest piece of information comes from a Chinese tipster, who shares some info about its price and key features.

Will iQOO 13 Cost The Same As iQOO 12?
According to renowned tipster Digital Chat Station, the iQOO 13 will cost CNY 3,999 for the variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. When converted, that is about Rs. 47,200. However, when iQOO 12 (review) came out in India, it cost Rs. 52,999.
Even though the tipster suggested that the phone could be more expensive than its predecessor (in the past), the leaked price is similar to the iQOO 12. And that is highly unlikely, given that the phone features top-tier hardware, like BOE’s latest-generation screen, with improved global peak brightness and reduced power consumption.
The iQOO 13 will be among the first smartphones to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, providing exceptional on-device performance for regular and AI-based tasks or apps. Hence, there’s a chance that the phone’s manufacturing cost will go up. That said, it seems counter-intuitive that iQOO 13 will cost the same as the iQOO 12 from 2023.

iQOO 13 Key Specifications (Tipped)
While we already know about the chipset that will power the upcoming smartphone, Digital Chat Station now reveals that the iQOO 13 will feature a 6.78-inch screen. The phone could sport a Q10 8T LTPO OLED screen that supports 144Hz refresh rate, has a 2K resolution (510 ppi), and can achieve 1,800 nits of peak brightness.
The handset could be powered by a 6,150 mAh battery pack that supports 100W PPS+ direct drive charging technology. With the processor, iQOO 13 will feature LPDDR5X RAM.
