Huawei has announced the launch of revamped Huawei Y9 (2019). This phone will be an upgraded version of Huawei Y9 (2018). The key talking point about this phone is that it includes dual cameras both on the front and the rear – which still isn’t very common on affordable phones.
Huawei Y9 (2019) Features
Coming to the specifications this Huawei Y9 (2019) features a large 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a notch and a 2.5D curved glass on the top. It is powered by Kirin 710 and will be available in two variants: 4GB + 64GB and the 6GB + 128GB.
The camera department will see a 16MP main shooter combined with a 2MP depth sensor on the rear and a 12MP main shooter fused with a 2MP depth sensor on the front.

The handset has the usual 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. And it houses a 4000 mAh battery under the hood.
The Huawei Y9 (2019) will be based on Android Oreo (8.1) with Huawei’s own EMUI 8.2.
The phone looks like a significant upgrade from the earlier Huawei Y9(2018) in all aspects and we need to see how it fares once the actual device is out. The phone will be available in three colors namely: Midnight Black, Blue Swarovski, and Aurora Purple Hue. There is no word on the pricing of the phone yet and we need to wait till Huawei officially launches it.
