Huawei MediaPad T5 To Launch in India Soon

Huawei so far shied away from introducing tablets in the Indian market but it seems things are going to change very soon. Smartprix has learned Huawei is planning to launch its first Android tablet in India and it will be the Huawei MediaPad T5. The key highlights of this tablet are its octa-core processor, full HD resolution display, metal chassis, and feature-rich EMUI interface.

MediaPad T5 comes in a mostly metal body. It is 7.8 millimeters thick, weighs around 468g and has curved edges. This offers it a premium look and comfortable ergonomics. You could immerse into its vibrant fascia that stretches to 10.1 inches. This one is an IPS LCD panel that supports FHD (1920×1200) resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio.

Apart from this display, you also get dual stereo speakers aided by Huawei HiSten audio tech, a micro USB port, and a standard 3.5-millimeter headphone jack on the peripheral. Its rear features a 5MP (f/2.4) camera and in the front, there is a 2MP (f/2.4) selfie snapper. Huawei has skipped the LED flashlight on this tablet. MediaPad T5 would come out in a fancy Champagne Gold and gentle black color.

Under the hood, it runs on a proprietary HiSilicon Kirin 659 octa-core chipset, coupled with upto 3GB of RAM and a 32GB eMMC internal storage. It is fueled by a 5100mAh battery. Weirdly enough, it still runs on Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI software. However, Huawei has added some nifty features such as Eye-Comfort Mode, a dedicated Children’s Play corner, etc.
