Samsung is all set to host a Galaxy Unpacked Event in July wherein the brand will announce next-generation foldables, Galaxy ring, and much more. But before that event, the brand confirmed the launch of one more smartphone in the country. The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G is all set to arrive in India in May 2024. It is the remodelled version of Samsung Galaxy C55 5G which came out in China earlier this month.
Samsung Galaxy F55 5G: Launch Date
Samsung India shared a post on X which confirmed the launch of the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G in India very soon. There is an attached video teaser that shows the F55 5G in tan, orangish leather back panel with two vertical lines in a stitch-like pattern on the left and right edges. The post also confirmed that the smartphone will retail via Flipkart.

We have already talked about the design of the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G which is pretty much similar to Galaxy C55 5G. Galaxy C55 5G also came in an orange color option which is being teased for Galaxy F55 5G. The other color variant might be black.
In terms of specs, the Samsung Galaxy C55 shares some of its specs with the Samsung Galaxy M55 that rolled out in India recently. The biggest difference is that the M55 doesn’t have a vegan leather finish.
Reports claim Samsung Galaxy F55 is likely to be powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset with 8GB RAM. It is expected to sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits brightness.
The device will run Android 14 based One UI 6.0 and is said to feature a triple camera setup at the back including a 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro sensor. At the front as well, it is said to get a 50MP selfie camera. Under the hood, the smartphone is likely to pack a 5000mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging.
The smartphone is said to be IP67 rated and come with features like 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C, and much more.

Samsung Galaxy F55 5G: Expected Price
The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G is expected to come in three storage configurations-
- 8GB RAM+128GB storage- Rs. 26,999
- 8GB RAM+256GB storage- Rs. 29,999
- 12GB RAM+256GB storage- Rs. 32,999
The launch is expected to take place sometime in the first half of May 2024.
