MediaPad T5 comes in a mostly metal body. It is 7.8 millimeters thick, weighs around 468g and has curved edges. This offers it a premium look and comfortable ergonomics. You could immerse into its vibrant fascia that stretches to 10.1 inches. This one is an IPS LCD panel that supports FHD (1920×1200) resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio.

Its rear features a 5MP (f/2.4) camera and in the front, there is a 2MP (f/2.4) selfie snapper. Huawei has skipped the LED flashlight on this tablet. MediaPad T5 would come out in a fancy Champagne Gold and gentle black color.

Under the hood, it runs on a proprietary HiSilicon Kirin 659 octa-core chipset, coupled with upto 3GB of RAM and a 32GB eMMC internal storage. It is fueled by a 5100mAh battery. Weirdly enough, it still runs on Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI software. However, Huawei has added some nifty features such as Eye-Comfort Mode, a dedicated Children’s Play corner, etc.
