AirTel alone has millions of users and the most effective way to check AirTel prepaid number balance is simply to use the AirTel Thanks app. It is an all-you-can-know interface where you get information on various types of balances active on your phone number. Unlike USSD codes which were used heavily earlier, the AirTel Thanks app has replaced everything with just an app. You can check out the balances, recharge your number, and more all on a single interface. Here’s how you can do it.
Step #1: You need to download the AirTel Thanks app on your device. Go to Google Play Store (for Android) or the App Store (for iOS).
Step #2: You’ll need to provide your AirTel phone number to register on the app. An OTP might arrive in some cases so you will have to furnish it based on the instructions.
Step #3: Next, tap on the “Manage” page on the app and proceed to “Service”.
Step #4: You will get access to all the services right here on this page including talk time, data balance, etc. Browse the various sections of the app and you will find out all the information about the plan, active main and net balance, data, etc.
