Google I/O is a yearly event dedicated to developers, showcasing hardware launches and updates to existing products. Typically held in May or June, Google invites the public to solve a puzzle prior to announcing the event date. If you enjoy challenges, you may find it engaging to tackle this puzzle to uncover the date of I/O.

Last year, Google introduced a game named Break The Loop before revealing that the event would take place on May 14. This year, the ‘prism shift’ puzzle was introduced, requiring participants to guide, reflect, and split beams of light to activate beacons. Once the puzzle was completed, the dates for Google I/O 2025 were confirmed for May 20 and 21.

2. The recent launch of Gemini 2.0, featuring Gemini 2.0 Flash and Gemini 2.0 Flash Thinking Experimental Reasoning, is likely to be elaborated upon during the event.

4. Additionally, there are expectations for announcements related to Wear OS 6 for smartwatches.
5. The unveiling of Android XR, a new operating system for extended and mixed reality headsets, codenamed Project Moohan and developed in collaboration with Samsung and Qualcomm, may also take place.
6. With the Pixel 9a set to launch in March, the specifics of hardware announcements at I/O remain uncertain.
