Google Pixel 9a has been making headlines recently. A few weeks back, comprehensive specifications for the fifth member of the Pixel 9 lineup, known as Google Pixel 9a, were revealed, providing insights into the device’s features. Now, the US pricing for the Google Pixel 9a has emerged online, indicating that the launch is imminent. This latest price information supports the previously suggested launch date of mid-March 2025 for the upcoming Pixel-A series smartphone. For context, the Pixel 8a was released in May 2024, suggesting that the Pixel 9a may debut slightly ahead of its predecessor.

Google Pixel 9a: Prices Tipped

A report by Android Headlines claims that Pixel 9a will come in two storage variants in the US-

128GB model might cost USD 499 (Rs. 43,180 approximately)
256GB model might cost USD 599 (Rs. 51,830 approximately)

This means the 256GB variant is expected to get a price hike of around 40 USD.

Google Pixel 8a was launched in India for Rs. 52,999 for 128GB and Rs. 59,999 for 256GB model. Now, Pixel 9a’s 128GB variant might cost the same while the 256GB storage model will get a price hike.

Google Pixel 9a: Expected Specs

The entire spec sheet of Pixel 9a surfaced online a few days ago. According to the spec sheet, Pixel 9a will be powered by a Tensor G4 chipset with a Titan M2 security chip paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone is expected to get a 6.285-inch FHD+ OLED panel at the front with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2700 nits brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and more. It will run Android 15 with 7 years of OS, security, and feature drop updates.

Google Pixel 9a is said to have a dual camera setup at the back including a 48MP main and 13MP ultrawide cameras. At the front might be a 13MP selfie sensor. Under the hood, it is expected to pack a 5100mAh battery with 23W wired and 7.5W wireless charging. Connectivity options will include 5G, 4G, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, BeiDou, NavIC, USB Type-C 3.2, and NFC.

Pixel 9a will measure 154.7×73.3×8.9mm and weigh 185.9 grams. It will be IP68 rated and support Dual SIM (nano+ e-SIM).
