Gionee is a Chinese smartphone brand with some great products launched so far in the global market. The last product that grabbed some focus was Gionee Elife S7, which has already been launched in India and is available for purchase as well. A new smartphone by Gionee, Gionee E8 has been spotted on TENAA website recently which means an official confirmation for the device. Before Gionee Elife E8, TENAA had mentioned plastic variant of HTC One M9+, which was listed as HTC M9 ew and has already been posted about on our blog.
Gionee Elife E8 is the new facelift of the flagship device, Gionee Elife E7, which was introduced in 2013. As per the listing on TENAA, Gionee Elife E8 features a generously large 6 inch 2K ready HD display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels as compared to the 5.5 inch HD display of Elife E7. Elife E8 is powered by a 2.0 GHz processor (manufacturer not known yet) assisted by 3 GB of RAM. It comes with an in built memory of 32 GB which can be expanded further up to 128 GB by a microSD card. Elife E8 sports an 8 MP auto focus rear facing camera with a dual tone LED flash and an 8 MP front camera as well. Below th rear camera lies a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel of the smartphone. It runs on Amigo OS which is a replica of Android Lollipop.

The smartphone comes in Silver color and is expected to go colorful with a few more color variants later. Gionee Elife E8 price has not been disclosed yet.
