Mivi is entering the smartphone market with the Mivi One 5G, marking a major expansion for the Hyderabad-based brand, which has primarily been known for earbuds and speakers. The company has confirmed the phone’s arrival in India, while leaks have revealed several details ahead of the launch.

The Mivi One 5G is expected to run on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, with 6GB and 8GB RAM options. It could start at under ₹15,000. The phone is also tipped to feature LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, a 50MP main camera, an HD+ 120Hz LCD display, and a battery of around 6,000mAh. These specifications have not been officially confirmed yet.

The phone’s design has already been teased in an olive green finish with a flat back and rounded corners. Its camera module features two lenses placed horizontally, a design that has drawn comparisons to the iPhone 17.

Mivi also appears to be putting experienced leadership behind the smartphone business. Himanshu Tandon, who previously headed POCO India and later served as vice president of business at CMF by Nothing, has joined the company as chief business officer.

The Mivi One 5G will be sold exclusively through Flipkart. Mivi had previously listed September 26 as the launch date for the One 5G. The company has now updated that date to September 24.
