TL; DR
  • Mivi’s first smartphone has appeared on Geekbench with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2.
  • The phone is listed as Mivi MVNOE, with 6GB of RAM and Android 16.
  • It scored 677 in single-core and 1,490 in multi-core on Geekbench 7.0.
  • Mivi says the phone will run stock Android with no bloatware, use an in-house designed PCBA, and target affordable 5G buyers.
  • Mivi has confirmed a September 26 launch in India, exclusively through Flipkart.

Mivi is getting ready to enter the smartphone market, and we now have confirmation of the chipset inside its first phone. A Geekbench listing for the Mivi MVNOE shows Qualcomm’s SM4450, which is the model number associated with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2.

Mivi has also revealed a few more details about its approach to the phone. It will be the company’s first device with stock Android, and Mivi says there will be no bloatware. The company has also designed the PCBA in-house and is pitching the phone as an affordable 5G option.

Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Confirmed

The Geekbench listing shows the Mivi MVNOE running an eight-core Qualcomm processor with six cores clocked at 1.96GHz and two at 2.21GHz. That matches the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 configuration.

The phone scored 677 points in single-core and 1,490 points in multi-core on Geekbench 7.0. It was tested with Android 16 and around 5.35GB of usable memory, indicating a 6GB RAM configuration.

This also confirms the earlier reports pointing toward the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. Mivi’s teaser had already confirmed a Snapdragon chip, so the Geekbench listing fills in the exact chipset.

Stock Android and In-House PCBA

Mivi is also making a couple of claims that could help the phone stand out in the budget segment. The company says this will be its first device with stock Android, with no bloatware installed. That could be a nice change for buyers who want a cleaner software experience at this price. Mivi claims it has also designed the phone’s PCBA in-house, making it the company’s first device to use an internally designed board.

What We Know About Mivi’s Phone

Mivi has teased the phone in a green color with a flat frame and rounded corners. The company is calling it “Pretty Powerful” and will sell it exclusively through Flipkart.

The Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 is a 5G chipset aimed at affordable phones, which fits Mivi’s plan for an affordable 5G device. The phone is expected to launch under ₹15,000, putting it against several established budget 5G phones. Mivi hasn’t revealed the display, cameras, battery, or storage options yet.
