vivo X200 5G

The vivo X200 5G is another OnePlus 13 alternative that offers top-of-the-line specifications for a similar price. With a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen (4,500 nits of local peak brightness) that supports 120Hz refresh rate, the phone is ever-so-slightly smaller than the OnePlus 13. The vivo X200 sports Dimensity 9400 SoC.
MediaTek’s flagship chipset for Android smartphones. The chipset offers similar performance and efficiency as the Snapdragon 8 Elite on the OnePlus 13 In India, the vivo X200 series is available with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The rear panel of the smartphone features a triple 50MP sensor (regular, periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom and ultrawide).

Oppo Find X8 5G

Before we move on to the only iPhone in the list, there’s this last OnePlus 13 alternative that we want to talk about, i.e., Find X8 5G (review). The phone offers a more compact form factor than others with its 6.59-inch AMOLED screen (1,600 nits in HBM, 120Hz); it is better suited for one-handed usage than the other Android phones.
Under the hood, the Find X8 runs on the same processor as the vivo X200, i.e., Dimensity 9400. Alongside the CPU, the phone offers up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Like its siblings, the Find X8 features a triple 50MP setup (primary, ultrawide, and 3x telephoto). iPhone 16 or iPhone 16 Plus

Last but not least, the iPhone 16 (review), or the iPhone 16 Plus, could be an alternative to the OnePlus 13. While the iPhone 16 has a 6.1-inch screen, the iPhone 16 Plus offers a 6.7-inch screen. The downside, however, is that the smartphones offer a 60Hz refresh rate. Even so, there’s the Dynamic Island, which provides a unique way of interacting with notifications.
Under the hood, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus features the A18 chipset, which supports all the latest Apple Intelligence features. For those catching up, the A18 chipset is in the same league as the Snapdragon 8 Elite and the Dimensity 9400 in terms of raw performance. So, editing or shooting 4K videos shouldn’t be a problem on any of the smartphones mentioned in the list.
Both the iPhones sport the same 48MP primary camera (which provides 2x lossless zoom) and 12MP ultrawide camera (with macro shooting ability). The regular iPhone 16 features a 3,561 mAh battery, while the iPhone 16 Plus comes with a 4,674 mAh battery. Both phones can easily last a day of moderate usage, with the iPhone 16 Plus offering some extra hours.
Out of the box, the iPhones come with iOS 18. Although Apple doesn’t commit to a fixed update cycle, it has an excellent track record of offering software and security updates (about five to six years on average). Hence, that shouldn’t be a problem for buyers as well.
- iPhone 16 Plus (128GB): Rs. 84,990
- iPhone 16 Plus (256GB): Rs. 94,990
- iPhone 16 Plus (512GB): Rs. 1,14,990
