Screen

The vanilla Find X9 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with 3840Hz PWM dimming, and the Find X9 Pro boasts a bigger 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with 2160Hz PWM dimming.

The screen on the smaller phone has a slightly higher pixel density (460 ppi vs. 450 ppi), but it lacks adaptive refresh rate due to the lack of an LTPO panel.

Anyways, both the phones offer 3,600 nits of peak brightness (limited to 1,800 nits in HBM). Last but not least, both handsets support Dolby Vision and HDR10+ formats.

Chipset

Under the hood, the regular and the Pro handsets run on the Dimensity 9500 (3nm) chipset, which features a 4.21 GHz prime core, the Arm G1-Ultra GPU, and an advanced NPU for on-device AI processing. Both the models ship with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

Out of the box, both the phones run on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. Furthermore, the company has committed to providing up to five years of operating system updates and an additional year of security updates.

As evident from the specifications, the Find X9 Pro features a better primary camera (with a bigger aperture), a higher-resolution 200MP zoom camera (with a bigger aperture), and a better selfie camera.

Among the key features of the camera system are 4K video recording at 120 fps, 4K Dolby Vision video at up to 60 fps, and 10-bit video recording. The front camera, on the other hand, can only record 4K videos at up to 60 fps.

The Pro version also supports a teleconverter accessory, which features a 12-element glass and increases the optical zoom range to 10x (up to 200x digital zoom) and up to 50x for video recording. The non-Pro version of the vivo X300 series also supports a similar accessory.
