Coronavirus or Covid-19 pandemic has hit humanity really hard and the number of Coronavirus case continues to swell globally. As of now, there are more than 2.2lakh cases in more than 170 countries. In India, all agencies and governments have been operating proactively to limit the infection from spreading. Only 160-odd people have been tested positive till March 18. However, it is worth pointing out that India has the poorest testing rate in the world.
As of now, there are only 72 Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) authorized Coronavirus detection test collection centres in the country. To put things in perspective, India has 732 districts and a population of 1.3 billion.
