Citroen C3 has been finally launched in India at a starting price of Rs 5.71 lakh. The new Citroen C3 has two variants with a couple powertrain options and will be available in 10 different colours. The company had previously revealed a handful of features of its new hatchback while prices were due.

The two models brought by the French automobile company to the Citroen C3 line-up include – Live and Feel. The design language of the new C3 is more like a compact SUV but the company refrains from calling it so. Instead, it insists to refer it as a hatchback. Though Citroen C3 will be a rival to Tata Punch and Maruti S-Press where both retail in the same price segment. 

Citroen C3 Pricing and Availability

The Live variant of Citroen C3 is the base model which is priced at Rs 5.70 lakh while the Feel vanilla model will cost Rs 6.62 lakh and it goes to Rs 8.05 lakh for the top-notch model. The pricing of Citroen C3 is as follows:

  • 1.2P Live – ₹5,70,500
  • 1.2P Feel – ₹6,62,500
  • 1.2P Feel VIBE PACK– ₹6,77,500
  • 1.2P Feel DUAL TONE – ₹6,77,500
  • 1.2P Feel DUAL TONE VIBE PACK – ₹6,92,500
  • 1.2P Feel Turbo DUAL TONE VIBE PACK – ₹8,05,500

Citroen C3 features

The new Citroen C3 comes with a sporty design language featuring split LED front lights with DRLs, faux skid plates, black body cladding, faux twin exhaust pipes and roof rails. It has wrap-around LED tail lamps and runs on 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

The new C3 is larger than Tata Punch and Maruti Ignis while its wheelbase is longer than Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, and Kia Sonet.  It has a ground clearance of 180mm and a boot capacity of 315 litres.

The company has provided a premium range of interiors to the Citroen C3 that includes a 10-inch standing touchscreen display and a digital driving cluster, steering mounted controls, a four-speaker audio system, and power windows. It supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Safety features of the car comprise 2 airbags on the front, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors.

Citroen C3 is powered by two engine options – 1.2L PureTech82 petrol and 1.2L PureTech110 turbo petrol. The former generates 82PS and 115Nm of peak torque while the other delivers 110PS and 190Nm of total output. The Puretech82 engine offers a 5-speed manual gearbox and a fuel economy of 19.8kmpl. While PureTech110 mill includes 6-speed manual transmission and offers an efficiency of 19.5kmpl. 

The company offers two years or 40,000km warranty on Citroen C3 and 12 month or 10,000km warranty on spare parts. It will be providing 24×7 roadside assistance and an extended warranty for up to five years.
