Even though there’s still some time for the official unveiling of Asus’ new ZenFone 4 series of smartphones (set to take place by the end of July), the Internet has thrown up some information regarding four members of the same.
While the Google Support website screenshot has all but confirmed that there will be a sum total of six devices as part of this new range (including the model names and numbers of the phones), benchmarking website GFXBench has thrown up some information regarding one of the six, to be called the ZenFone 4 Selfie.

The screenshot points out that the ZenFone 4 handset by the company would be out in two variants, differing on probably the type of markets they will be hitting, and also showed the other phones that are in the mix and have been named as the ZenFone 4V, ZenFone 4 Selfie, ZenFone 4 Pro and ZenFone 4 Max.
Unfortunately, no other information could be derived from it, other than the model names and numbers of the purported smartphones.
Now, trudging on to the GFXBench listing, it says that the ZenFone 4 Selfie device would boot the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box, and will be powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core processor of Qualcomm make.

The display size of the phone has been indicate as 5.5-inch (with Full HD resolution), while the support system indicated for the processor are a 4GB RAM and an Adreno 506 GPU. The built-in storage capacity has been kept at 32GB.
Furthermore, the ZenFone 4 Selfie would sport 16MP rear camera, and a 12MP on the front, both of which will have support for 4K video recording.
Apart from these variants, Asus is also likely to add the Deluxe and Laser variants in the same series.
