Apple iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Red color variant launched

Apple has introduced red color variants of both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus as part of its association with (RED) that involves promoting AIDs fundraising campaigns by use of Red color in its products and apps. The Cupertino giant also painted its App store and associated apps Red for the World AIDS day.

“Since we began working with (RED) 10 years ago, our customers have made a significant impact in fighting the spread of AIDS through the purchase of our products, from the original iPod nano (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition all the way to today’s lineup of Beats products and accessories for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. The introduction of this special edition iPhone in a gorgeous red finish is our biggest (PRODUCT)RED offering to date in celebration of our partnership with (RED), and we can’t wait to get it into customers’ hands,” said Apple CEO Tim Cook.

The Red aluminum finish indeed looks gorgeous and most striking of all available iPhone Colors, including the recently introduced Glossy Jet black and the Rose gold that were introduced last year. The new red color options for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be available in 128GB and 256GB options from March 24 onwards in US starting at $749. They will arrive in India in April.

Apart from the new color iPhones, Apple also doubled the storage of existing iPhone SE. It still the same easily manageable iPhone 5s with an upgraded chipset but will now be available in 32GB and 128GB storage options.
