Amazon slashes the price of affordable Prime Lite Membership by Rs. 200: Checkout benefits inside

OTT Platforms like Netflix, Disney+Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, and Sony LIV are becoming increasingly popular day by day. More and more consumers are switching to these paid OTT services for exploring Indian and Foreign titles on the go. OTT Giants are also trying their best to offer maximum benefits at the lowest of prices. To ensure better affordability, Amazon launched the Amazon Prime Lite membership which costs less than the original Amazon Prime Membership and offers a host of benefits as well.

Now, it seems like consumers are in for a treat as the price of the Amazon Prime Lite membership has been reduced by 200 rupees. The Amazon page shows the price of the annual Prime Lite membership to be Rs. 799 which was earlier Rs. 999. The budget-friendly plan offers many benefits although some features are reserved only for Amazon Prime members.

  • Annual plan-Rs. 1499

PS- If you can shell out Rs. 1499 in one go then buying an annual plan will be beneficial as it saves Rs. 649 compared to a monthly plan. However, if you are tight on budget, then opt for a monthly or quarterly plan.

  • Amazon offers 5% cashback on purchases. Applicable on ICICI Bank credit card.
  • Morning delivery at Rs. 175/item, no cost EMI, 6-month free screen replacement, and more.
  • You can stream unlimited videos, movies, and TV shows in HD quality with ads on 2 devices through Prime Video. The quality is limited to 720p.
  • Access to lightning deals, Prime-exclusive deals, deals of the day, and more.
  • Prime music and one-day delivery are still missing. Prime reading is also not included in the Lite membership.
