Sony Xperia Z5 Premium and Xperia Z5 Dual land In India

Sony India has today announced its two flagship phone Xperia Z5 Dual and Xperia Z5 Premium at an event in Delhi. These two ‘Z’ series phones along with Xperia Z5 Compact were first introduced at IFA 2015 in September and are crucial for Sony in the ‘Make or break’ year. The Xperia Z5 Dual will be up for grab starting October 23 for 52,999 INR. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium will to hit the shelves in India on November 7 for 62,999 INR.

At the event, Taro Yamamoto, head of Xperia business in India, praised design, specification and features of these two premium devices. The Xperia Z5 boasts a stunning 5.5-inch 4K Triluminos screen while the Xperia Z5 Dual aims to deliver the same experience on a more manageable (or compact) 5.2-Inch display. Both handsets are IP68 certified for water and dust resistance, so you need not worry about occasional spills and splashes.

At the heart of the two, you will find the same Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core SoC assisted by Adreno 430 GPU. Xpieria Z5 packs in 3GB of RAM while its Z5 Dual version also gets to play with 3Gigs. Both these Z5 Series phones sports a whopping 23 mega-pixel rare snapper and a 5 mega-pixel front shooter. Both phones runs on Android Lollipop 5.1, and comes with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, GPS, USB OTG, and NFC.
