Automaker Honda has expanded its two-wheeler existence in India with the launch of the 2023 CB200X. The newly launched 184.4cc engine bike comes with a plethora of features like USD fork, ADV Design, wide handle bars, new colour options, Knuckle guards, and a lot more among the others. Here are more details about the price, specifications, and features of the newly launch 2023 Honda CB200X.

2023 Honda CB200X Price

Honda 2W India has introduced the 2023 CB200X at a highly competitive price point following a successful price revision strategy for the CB300F. This latest iteration of the CB200X is now compliant with current emission standards, aligning it with other Honda motorcycles. The upgraded 184.4cc engine meets the BS6 P2 standards and incorporates OBD II compatibility. It is available in a range of stylish color options, including the all-new Decent Blue Metallic, Pearl Nightstar Black, and Sports Red, giving customers more choices to suit their preferences.

2023 Honda CB200X Specifications and Design

The CB200X is a commuter bike with an adventure-inspired design, drawing inspiration from the CB500X ADV. Its aesthetics stand out as one of its most notable strengths, elevating it above other motorcycles in its engine class. The motorcycle boasts a sleek fairing, LED turn indicators integrated into knuckle guards, full LED headlights, and USD telescopic front forks with a gold finish, all contributing to its luxurious and premium appearance. Despite sharing an engine and platform with the Hornet 2.0, the 2023 Honda CB200X distinguishes itself through a series of extensive upgrades that give it a distinct and unique character.

The CB200X features a more upright handlebar compared to the Hornet 2.0, resulting in a more comfortable and relaxed rider’s posture. Additionally, it includes an impressive windshield mounted on the bikini fairing, offering effective protection against wind blasts at higher speeds. The presence of knuckle guards on the CB200X adds to its practicality and rider comfort. These features are notably absent on the Hornet 2.0 model.

The primary focus of this update centers around the engine, which is now compliant with OBD-II standards, allowing for real-time diagnostics as part of the BS6 P2 emission regulations. In the event of a malfunction, a warning light will flash to alert the rider. This powerplant delivers approximately 17 bhp of maximum power at 8,500 RPM and 15.9 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 RPM, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Honda has equipped the CB200X with petal disc brakes both at the front and rear, complemented by the safety assurance of single-channel ABS.

To enhance the riding experience, a slip-and-assist clutch has been incorporated, reducing the effort required for clutch action and minimizing wheel hopping during downshifts. The motorcycle features a modern fully digital instrument cluster with adjustable brightness, although it lacks Bluetooth connectivity functionality.
