Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is once again in action. After having a dull 2015 at least in India, company is leaving no stone unturned to win the hearts some of the fans it who might have moved its loyalty to other players in the market. Recently, Xiaomi has been on a spree to introduce new smartphones and in that portfolio has introduced Redmi 3 Pro at its motherland. Here's everything you need to know about Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro including its features, specification and expected price in India. The Redmi 3 Pro has a 5-inch 720p HD IPS display with a 294ppi pixel density and 70.92 percent screen to body ratio. Even though it flaunts a metal unibody design weighs 144 grams in total which is a blessing in disguise for someone who speaks for hours on the phone. At the heart, it boasts a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 616 chipset out of which four cores are clocked at 1.5GHz while remaining four are ticking at 1.2 GHz. It runs on Xiaomi’s latest MIUI 7 which is based on Android Lollipop 5.1. To enforce security features, Xiaomi has added a fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone. The phone comes with a capacious 4,100mAh battery which is non-removable in nature. It has a 32GB on-board storage which can be bumped up to 128GB via microSD card. In terms of connectivity option, it supports f 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro USB etc. At the back, Xiaomi has placed a 13MP primary camera which gets assistance from LED flash under poor lighting condition. At the front, Redmi 3 gets a 5MP wide-angle selfie camera which is also capable of recording videos. The Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro is currently available in China only. However, the way Xiaomi has picked up a steam in 2016, we can assume it can be launched in India anytime now. We expect Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro price in India to be somewhere around Rs. 9,999.
