Xiaomi Mi Note 3

Xiaomi, the Chinese Smartphone conglomerate, has finally lifted the curtain from its Mi Note 3 smartphone. The metal framed, dual-camera and high-end specification phone, Mi Note 3, succeeds the company's last year finding Mi Note 2 handset. The Mi Note 3 comes clad in a blue metal and glass body design - it has a curved glass on the rear which seamlessly merges with the side edges, with 2,5D glass on the front and gently curved edges on the sides. Talking about its specifications, the Mi Note 3 boasts a 5.5-inch Full HD display that supports a resolution of 1920X1090 pixels. Under the hood, the Note 3 is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 660 chipset processor backed by 6GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage (expand it to up to 128GB via microSD card). The phone houses a 3000mAh battery. The Mi Note 3 also comes with a facial recognition feature for biometric authentication, similar to what we’ve seen on the likes of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Samsung Galaxy S8. For photography, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 sports a dual 12MP camera setup at the back, with one of them being a wide-angle lens and the other a telephoto lens that allows for 2X optical zoom. The camera also comes with a 4-axis optical image stabilization and allows you to shoot portrait images with blurry background. Up front, the Mi Note 3 packs a16 MP front camera that’s aided by a customary beautify mode. The software and connectivity options on the Mi Note 3 include Android Nougat-based MIUI 9 UI, 4G VoLTE support, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm, micro USB, TheaterMax and Dolby Atmos. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back of the phone. As of now, the Mi Note 3 is exclusive to China, where Xiaomi has priced the 6GB/128GB variant at RMB 2,999, roughly to 29,369 INR.
