Xiaomi Mi Mix

Xiaomi's Mi Mix won't be heading to India, not via official routes, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be excited about this extremely exciting 'Concept smartphone'. The Mi Mix has nearly zero bezel on three sides and a staggering 91.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. The display itself is a mammoth 6.4-inches (2048 x 1080 pixels) in size, which makes it a wide uninterrupted canvas well suited for multimedia consumption. But, what about the proximity sensor, selfie camera, and earpiece? Well, the selfie camera has been shifted to the bottom. A piezoelectric crystal makes up for the earpiece. The crystal uses the metal side frame to make sound and you can hear calls without the earpiece. A new ultrasound technology will act as the replacement for the proximity sensor. Besides the integration of a bezel-less display, other hardware packed in the Mi Mix's ceramic casing is quite interesting as well. There is 2.35GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 64-bit processor with Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB/6GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB storage. For photography, there is 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. Other features include 4G VoLTE , WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C port, NFC, Fingerprint reader and 4400mAh battery. In China, Price of Mi Mix will start from $516 or Rs. 34,500 approx. which is quite reasonable. As stated above, Xiaomi has no plans of bringing this to India.
