Nice product
Phone is slim, lightweight & easy to hold. 120hz Amoled Display is buttery smooth. Colors are vibrant & punchy. Even though it has single speaker but it is competitively loud. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth signal reception is excellent. Battery is average but 65watts Charger is extremely fast. The phone gets slightly warm while charging because of the superfast charger. Cameras are decent and it has plenty of features(Installing GCam will give more sharper images). Front camera is good & gives you best selfie. Earpiece is really good & calling is crisp.

Writing this after using the device for 1 week, Battery backup could be better, I am getting around 6.5 hours of screen on time, but its charging time makes lives easy Camera performance is adequately good...not up to the mark...but works for casual photography Display quality is also good for the price Performance is also very fast And it is a very good device for its price. And a very balanced and all round phone

The best value for money in 20-30k range
Let's start with direct comparison with one plus nord 2 I would have rated iqoo 7 as the best VFM if it had a better OS, it's OS is the only let down for me and many others who want to experience good software experience, so I would leave iqoo 7 there for you guys to decide. Display With super amoled, colours are rich and vivid. GT master edition supports 120Hz screen refresh rate and 360 Hz touch sampling rate( after OTA update), which is better than that of nord (90Hz SRR and 180Hz TSR( that is set at 120 by default and may or may not be enabled by OnePlus via OTA update) Performance Realme GT ME has well optimised SD 778G ( just in case you think it's just another processor of 700 series, let me clear it to you that it's performance is better than SD 855+ and comparable to SD 860 (which were flagship processor in 2019) even though 778g has lesser clock speed of 2.4 GHz), UFS 2.2 storage, LPDDR4 RAM On the other hand nord 2 has dimensity 1200 AI processor, UFS 3.1storage, and LPDDR 5 RAM Now dimensity 1200 is a powerful processor (more powerful than SD 778G), but OnePlus has messed up with it's optimization on nord 2. What I mean by that is that the nord 2 throttles after 1-2 hr of heavy usage, also no 90 FPS support for BGMI/PUBG ( Realme X7 max support 90 FPS and is the only phone that is using the dimensity 1200 to it's full potential in every aspect), so I would not weigh nord 2 over realme GT in that front coz optimization is more important than raw performance. My reason for not choosing realme x7 max is it's logo design which makes me feel like I'm hoarding of realme and advertising it (luckily GT ME has better minimal logo design) Coming to storage, ofcourse UFS 3.1 is much faster than 2.2, but any storage including UFS 2.1 and above does the job of smooth read and right speed perfectly. So yes, storage is better in nord 2 but you won't feel a difference (and definitely not worth spending extra 10k) Ram technologies are same in both. Also, Realme GT ME has better thermal management and sustained performance as compared to nord 2, though max temperature in nord 2 is still within holding limits, nothing to be worried about. Camera Realme GT comes with 64 MP OV sensor, + 8MP Ultrawide + 2 MP macro. Front camera is Sony IMX615 Nord 2 has 50MP sony IMX766 sensor with OIS and rest of the sensor are same as Realme GT ME In real world performance, nord 2 has an upper hand when it comes to shaky videos i e when you shoot videos while running and secondly IMX766 captures better low light photos but when you turn on night mode, realme GT comes to equal grounds because of the optimisation. Also GT ME has EIS, which is not as good as OIS but does a decent job of stabilising the video. Also Realme GT ME's night mode has improved alot after the update and both are at par when it comes to night mode. So if you're not going to do so much of 'runnig' videography, both will give you satisfactory results. Realme rear cam clicked pics are a bit boosted with colour and are ready to upload on social media and nord 2 has close to real colours. Both the results can be interchanged with just a simple tweak of snapseed, or you can use GCAM for better tuning. I won't talk about ultra wide or macro lens coz both are as useless as "a" and "e" in "are" in both phones. Coming to selfies, inspite of having same lens, Realme GT produces better selfies (again, coz of optimisations) in normal mode , in low light and with night mode. Battery performance and charging: GT ME has 4300mAh battery capacity and nord 2 has 4500mAh battery capacity and both perform equally good and are good enough to get you through all day with medium to heavy usage. With medium to low usage, they can extend to 1 and half day as well, so no issues there. Battery drainage was a problem with Realme GT ME initially but that has been fixed after update. Both have the same super VOOC 65W fast charging and I feel VOOC is the best fast charging technology that I've felt till now. Back panel and build quality Nord 2 has a glass back and GT ME has a plastic back( don't judge it, it's good quality plastic and it's still premium looking (even Samsung galaxy S20 FE has plastic back)) and both phones look classy with there back design. I would give more points to nord 2 for back panel coz of its minimalistic logo (1+), but both phone feel superb in the hand. Well none of it matters as most of us are going to use the back cover anyway. BTW, GT ME comes with a better quality back cover in the box as compared to nord 2. Both have plastic frames, which is not justified for 25k + phones, but it is what it is( though it's good quality plastic). Software experience Software experience WAS something OnePlus was known for, it was it's USP, but after the merger of colour OS in oxygen OS, it's not much different from realme OS which is also based on colour OS. I would give a slight edge to oxygen OS 11.3 but in future, it seems like colour OS would infiltrate more into oxygen OS as recent oxygen OS updates are not that stable. Pricing Realme GT ME - 6+128 - Rs 25999 8+ 128- Rs 27999 OnePlus Nord 2 - 6+128 - Rs 27999 (never available) 8+128 - Rs 29999 On offers, you can get GT ME ( 6+128 ) for 20k and (8+128) for 22k and OnePlus nord 2 (8+ 128) for 28k Extra features. 1)3.5 mm jack is included in Realme GT ME and is missing in nord 2. 2)Nord 2 has dual stereo speakers while GT ME has mono speaker, so nord wins the speaker race (but who listens to speaker on the phone in the age of earphones, and even if someone does, GT ME is loud enough, it's just that nord 2 does a better job at that). 3)Both phones have NFC. I would have talked about 5g as well, but 5g is not coming to India for atleast 1 year from now, and may even take 2 years or so, so by that time ,it would be the time to change these phones so no point in talking these phones for 5g. Though both these phones support 5g and that too enough bands to be future ready. 4) OnePlus nord 2 has alert slider (which is good but nothing to hype about, you can change alert settings on any other phone with just one touch on screen, but having an physical alert slider makes it a bit more comfortable) Conclusion 1) It might seem like I'm a bit biased towards Realme but it's just reality. Also, Realme isn't paying me any money for that, it's just an honest opinion, you can click any trusted youtuber youtube video and results won't be any different from any of the points I pointed out. 2) OnePlus is dying, it hasn't produced any VFM phone after OnePlus 7 3) OnePlus is overpriced ( yes all the phones, nord series and 9 series). Even if Nord 2 was priced at 22k-24k for 8+ 128 variant, Realme GT ME would still be more value for money, but then one might have thought of opting OnePlus just for the brand name, but paying 6k extra for just brand name (coz only that is remaining in OnePlus (no extra features, no decent after sales services (there social media pages are just filled with complaints (observation))) 4) For me, GT ME wins the VFM race by a big margin, and you pay 6k just for brand name ( which is not Samsung, or iPhone, but just OnePlus)
