realme will launch the realme 16x 5G in India on August 12 at 12 noon. The phone continues the brand’s now-standard template of a large battery, high-refresh display and AI camera features.
It features a 7,000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging, bypass charging and reverse charging. realme claims six years of battery health support. The display runs at 144Hz. Performance is handled by the company’s Flux Engine and GT BOOST gaming optimization, although the chipset hasn’t been revealed yet. Most likely, it’s the Dimensity 6300.
The main camera is a 50MP unit with AI features like AI Eraser, AI Ultra Clarity, Motion Photo and Dual-View Video Mode. The phone also carries an IP65 rating and military-grade shock resistance.
This is the latest in a string of realme models, including the 16 series, 16T, P4R, Narzo 100x and C83 5G, that share the same core specs of big battery, high refresh rate and mid-tier AI camera features, differentiated mainly by naming. Full chipset details, RAM/storage configurations and pricing remain undisclosed for now.
The realme 16x 5G will be available on Flipkart, realme.com and mainline stores.
