Micromax IN 1 comes fitted with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD punch-hole design display. It has a full HD+ resolution of 1080x2400px with a pixel density of 395PPI. You get a full-view display with narrow bezels that offers more than 84% of screen to body ratio. With its screen size and resolution, watching movies can be fun on this Micromax phone.
The phone has triple rear cameras placed on a rectangular module. It houses a main 48MP camera with a 2MP Macro camera and a depth sensor of 2MP with autofocus. You can shoot portrait pictures and also capture macro images using the given camera options. For selfies and video calls, you get an 8MP inside the punch hole. Most concerning factor is, the network will be shown as 4G but as soon as the phone is connected to a call the network automatically shifts to 2G, so this creates a network issue while talking over phone, the voice breaks, neither I hear the other person clearly nor the other person hears me clearly, the solution is, I have to go to network settings and select GSM only mode to make calls and for surfing internet I switch to LTE/WCDMA/GSM mode. If it shifts automatically then it's unable to detect the best available network and as a result the voice over call breaks. May be the issue is due to LTE only as it does not have VOLTE. Other than this, battery back up, camera, display, multitasking, performance are found satisfactory, quite good only at this price point. The phone is not so slim, it feels big in hand. Touch response is good, UI is clean. Switching between apps is goods, does not reload the app again. The very purpose of a phone is to make and receive calls and in the era of 4G, it's not offering voice calls over 4G network, well that may be a deciding factor for many. I use wifi for internet and keep the phone in 2G mode always to get better call quality.
