Micromax Canvas 5 is just 8.5 mm thick with a leather-finish plastic back cover, metallic side edges and lists a 5.2 Inch full HD 1080P display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass on top that gently curves at the sides. The Micromax Canvas 5 should deliver powerful and smooth performance, thanks to the 1.3 GHz MT6753 octa-core processor assisted by 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and Mali T720GPU, ticking under the hood. On the rear side there is a 13MP primary shooter with Samsung 3M2 sensor, dual LED flash and PDAF. The front 5MP selfie snapper also features LED flash for low light selfies. Question: How is the display on Micromax Canvas 5? Answer: Micromax Canvas 5 features a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS display. In default black theme black color looks immaculate without any artifacts or grain marks. We tried different viewing angle and have to say it didn’t disappoint us. Under the sun, text on the screen was quite readable so full marks to Micromax for that. Question: Does the display support gorilla glass protection? Answer: Micromax Canvas 5 does feature a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. However, we recommend you to buy a screen protector to keep it scratch free in longer run.
