LeTV, China's leading content provider is coming to India with its range of smartphones. As far as smartphones go, Le Max was their biggest success in China and that is the one LeTV is bringing first to India. The lowest price of Letv Le Max in India is expected to be around 29K, which is higher than what you would expect from lesser known Chinese brands. However, Le Max packs enough hardware to justify it. Talking of features and specifications, Le Max includes a massive 6.33 Inch display with ample 2560 x 1440 pixels (QHD). The display is sharp with optimum brightness and vivid colors and good viewing angles. There is no Gorilla Glass on top , but Letv does include some other scratch resistant layer. The premium aluminum finish further reveals meticulous attention to details while crafting it. Besides ergonomically placed fingerprint sensor, buttons and ports, a mute switch is also present on the upper left corner. The rear camera has a 21MP Sony sensor and can record 4K videos. On the front a 4MP camera with large pixels is present. Both front and rear camera have decent performance. However, selfie camera was beautifying images by default which is something we didn't like. Since the handset includes powerful Snapdragon 810 octa core chip with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, performance won't be a problem. LeMax is a decent phone but it's only meant for those of you who are comfortable with high end phones.
