Infinix S5 Pro is the first pop-up camera smartphone from the house of Infinix. This notch-less phone sports a 16MP popup snapper, a 48MP triple rear camera, and comfortable build design. Infinix has listed this phone in an affordable segment to compete against other brands. Let's read all the details closely to see if this phone can stands against other rival brands.
Display and Design
Infinix S5 Pro has a 6.53-inch color IPS LCD display. The panel has FHD+(1080X2220px) resolution which amounts to 403PPI.The phone has a notch-less display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 which means you get a fair display size to treat your eyes.
The phone is solidly built and has a polycarbonate finish on the back. It has a comfortable build design with 162mm tall, and 8.9mm of thickness, and the phone tips the bar at 194gm. There's also a rear fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the phone.
Camera and Configuration
Infinix S5 Pro has a triple rear camera set up flaunting a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a low light sensor with autofocus. It has features like AI HDR, panorama, and AI 3D face and body beauty. The rear camera can record FHD 1080p videos @30fps. On the front side, it houses a 16MP pop-up camera to help with selfies and video calls. Also, it can record FHD 1080p videos which can benefit in vlogging.
S5 Pro runs on Infinix OS XOS 6.0 dolphin based on Android v10. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 chipset with 8 performing cores and runs on 4GB RAM. Features are missing
This is my first Infinix product purchase and i am writing this review after using it for two days:- Cons:- 1) Front camera quality is not very good. I tried various mode but quality is not very good 2) There is no option for dual app like in mi, vivo . oppo, may be it can be provided in next software update. Parallel space was not working in the phone. 3) Fast charging is missing. Fast charging now a basic requirement in 10K phone. 4) I played pubg in moderate setting for 15 minutes and it was working good without any lag but surprisingly temple run was not running smoothly. 5) Its my personal opinion but i did not like both the color option provided. 6) Phone cloning option should be provided to copy data from old phone Pro:- 1) Cheapest full screen and pop up selfie camera.
