Huawei Honor 10 Lite (6GB RAM + 64GB)

The Honor 10 Lite brandishes a slick glass-finish (the material used is polycarbonate) and is quite attractive. More importantly, it feels just the right size and is extremely comfortable to operate. The glass-like back panel curves towards the side edges and is differentiated by the gradient patterns underneath. Sky Blue is the new color, but you can also choose from the relatively sober and familiar midnight black and sapphire blue. On the front, you’ll find a ‘dew-drop’ notch, which is less intrusive than other sorts of notches, and a staggering 91% screen-to-body ratio. The bezel at the bottom is also slimmer than what we usually see in this segment. That’s also where you’ll find the LED notification light. The SIM tray is hybrid, so you will have to choose between expandable storage and second SIM. At the bottom, you will find a micro USB port, speaker grill, and the 3.5mm audio jack. all buttons, fingerprint reader and ports are accessible. The Honor 10 Lite has 6.21-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution. Smart resolution, a feature that lowers resolution to conserve battery, is turned on by default. We preferred disabling the feature from the display settings. The handset is powered by Kirin 710 octa-core chipset paired with 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB storage. The Kirin 710 is a 12nm SoC with 4x Cortex-A73 power cores and 4x Cortex-A55 performance cores. You can further add up to 512GB microSD storage, but the slot is hybrid. The Honor 10 Lite has a 24MP Sony IMX 576 sensor on the front that captures sharp and detailed selfies. On the rear, you will find a 13MP primary snapper with f/1.8 aperture lens accompanied by a basic 2MP depth sensor. There are numerous software features for both front and rear cameras and some of these like ‘Pro mode’ are very useful. The Night Mode that requires you to hold your phone steady while it captures multiple shots works surprisingly good too. The phone packs a 3400mAh battery and comes bundled with a 10W charger that takes more than 2.5 hours to charge it. The EMUI software and Kirin 710 are very well optimized to save power and thus the Honor 10 Lite battery can comfortably last for a day of moderate to heavy usage.
