Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ40 Performance
I bought this camera in US from Amazon. The camera performance is really good amongst advanced mega zoom point-and-shoot cameras. There are also Sony and Canon counterparts available in the market that provide little better performance than FZ-40, but, they charge you much higher. They just provide a larger CMOS sensor to provide little enhanced pictures under low-light. But at the end all of these are just a point & shoot cameras. If you pay such high amount I would recommend a DSLR rather than investing more on Sony or Canon. If you are looking for a good investment at low price then go for Panasonic FZ-40. It provides a lot of manual and pre-set picture options. Very good option if you are a beginner professional photographer or love making small experiments with lens settings.
