Yu Mobiles, Micromax sub-brand, today unveiled a new affordable smartphone in India. Labeled as the Yu Yureka 2, the mobile comes clad in a metal body design with 2.5D glass on top and holds pretty hefty features beneath its skin. (हिंदी में पढ़ें)
After the earlier launch of Yu Yureka Black, the Yu Yureka 2 is the sixth smartphone launched under the Yureka series. Since the company has decided to price it aggressively the phone will compete against the likes of much popular Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and Lenovo K8 Note.
Yu Yureka 2 Specification and Feature
The new Yu Yureka 2 sports a 5.5-inch full HD (1920X1080) display. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 processor backed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.
In optics, the Yu Yureka 2 features a 16MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and features like Night mode and multi-shots. The front camera is an 8MP selfie shooter.
However, at software front, the phone runs on a pretty dated version of Android, Android Marshmallow, out of the box and there is no information on whether it will get updates later or not. The phone houses a 3930mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging.
In terms of connectivity option, Yu Yurrka 2 will support 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB. The phone’s fingerprint sensor is placed at the back of the phone.
Yu Yureka 2 Price and Availability
The Yu Yureka 2 has been priced in India at Rs. 11,999 and will be exclusively sold via Flipkart from September 20 onwards, the same day Flipkart is announcing its Big Billion Day Sale.
