Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Turbo launched in China: Read on to know more

Popular tech brand Xiaomi has added one more smartphone to its Redmi Note 12 Series in China. The brand yesterday launched the Redmi Note 12 Turbo which comes in regular as well as a special Harry Potter Limited Edition in China. The smartphone comes with top-of-the-line specs and competitive pricing. Redmi has also launched Redmi Buds 4 Harry Potter Edition.

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo regular variant comes in the following storage configurations-

  • 8GB RAM +256GB storage-1999 yuan
  • 12GB RAM+256GB storage-2099 yuan
  • 12GB RAM+512GB storage- 2299 yuan
  • 16GB RAM+1TB storage- 2599 yuan

It comes in 3 colorways- Carbon Fiber Black, Star Ocean Blue, and Ice Feather White

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo Harry Potter Special Edition comes in a single 12GB RAM+256GB storage model for 2399 yuan.

The Redmi Buds 4 Harry Potter edition is priced at 399 yuan.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo: Specifications

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo sports a 6.67-inch flexible straight OLED panel with 2400×1080 pixel resolution, 2.5D 5th generation Corning Gorilla Glass, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a diamond arrangement. It supports 12-bit color depth with 68.7 million colors, 1000 nits peak brightness, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and more.

The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset based on a 4nm TSMC process and has up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB UFS 3.1 storage. In terms of camera, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo has a triple camera setup at the back including a 64MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 16MP selfie camera as well.

Connectivity options include 5G, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, Hi-Res, Hi-Res wireless dual gold standard, Dolby Atmos, and spatial audio. The smartphone runs Android 13 MIUI 14 OS and comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It comes with dual eye protection modes of Classic Eye Protection and Paper Eye Protection that help when using the phone for long durations.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo packs a 5000mAh battery under the hood with 67W fast charging. The dimensions are 161.11×74.95×7.9mm and its weight is 181 grams.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo Harry Potter Edition

The special Harry Potter Edition comes with a variety of Harry Potter-themed elements including a magical stick, platinum three-dimensional embossing, and custom themes. The gift box includes station card pins, a live dot map manual, custom phone cases, and more surprises. The box has a Hogwarts logo in the middle and Redmi X Harry Potter branding at the bottom.

The device has the text ‘Wizarding World’ and ‘Harry Potter’ engraved near the camera module and also a Hogwarts emblem on the back panel.

Redmi Buds 4 Harry Potter Edition

The Redmi Buds 4 also have a Hogwarts school crest and Harry’s lightning scar. The backpack has a gold flying thief and classic dark pattern elements. The magical gift box contains a theme pop-up window, college custom skin, fire paint print data line, magic elements instructions, and custom stickers.
