TL; DR
- Lumio Arc 7 (2026) costs ₹34,999 and goes on sale October 8.
- Brightness rises 25% to 500 ANSI lumens; storage doubles to 32GB.
- It runs Google TV on Android 14 with Gemini and Dolby Audio.
Lumio is back with a refreshed version of its Arc 7 projector. In my view, the changes address the weak spots first-gen buyers reported: daylight brightness, storage, and software. The number I was most concerned about — price — hasn’t moved yet, and I am more pleased than that by anything else.

A Familiar ₹34,999 Price And A Two-Day Wait
The 2026 Arc 7 costs ₹34,999, which, unlike every other consumer product category right now, didn’t go up. It goes on sale October 8, 2026, through the Lumio store, Amazon India, and Flipkart. While the company hasn’t announced any launch offers or limited-time deals, the effective price of the 2025 version dropped to ₹29,999.

What Actually Improved On The Wall
Lumio improved the most important aspect of the device: brightness. The Arc 7 now projects 500 ANSI lumens, up 25% from 400 on last year’s version. While it might sound like a minor improvement on paper, it will matter more in a living room where daylight leaks around the curtains or a window. It can, in a very real way, separate a washed-out picture from a watchable one.
The added brightness increases the recommended screen size up to 120 inches, up to 100 inches.

Contrast rises to 1,700:1, and DCI-P3 color coverage grows by 10%. In other words, you should see deeper blacks and more color variety. Lumio says its sealed Arc Light Engine 2 keeps dust out, just like the previous model did.
Google TV now runs Android 14 with deeper Gemini integration. The new version brings Google’s newer assistant into the interface for answering contextual queries. Storage doubles to 32GB, giving streaming apps and downloads more room. Unchanged are the Netflix certification, the dual 8W stereo speakers with Dolby Audio, and a remote with a Google Assistant button.

| Spec | Arc 7 (2026) | Original Arc 7 (2025) |
| Brightness | 500 ANSI lumens | 400 ANSI lumens (typical) |
| Contrast | 1,700:1 (Lumio says +15%) | 1,500:1 (typical) |
| Color | DCI-P3 coverage up 10% | Not restated |
| Light engine | Arc Light Engine 2, sealed, dust-resistant | Arc Light Engine, sealed |
| Recommended size | Up to 120 inches | Up to 100 inches |
| Software | Google TV (Android 14), Gemini on Google TV | Google TV |
| Storage | 32GB | 16GB |
| Audio | 2 x 8W stereo, Dolby Audio | 2 x 8W stereo, Dolby Audio |
| Setup | STR8 auto-keystone, TOF autofocus, obstacle avoidance | Same |
| Remote | Minion Noir, Google Assistant | Minion Noir, Google Assistant |
| Certification | Google TV, Netflix | Google TV, Netflix |
I like that Lumio held the price while lifting brightness by a quarter, since projectors at this price rise or fall on daylight performance.
