It was already known that Xiaomi has allegedly been working on Mi 8 Youth and Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint edition smartphones for some time. Now, as per the latest leak, specs sheet of the same have surfaced online on Chinese social media website, Weibo.
An image shared on Weibo lists the specs of the upcoming Mi 8 Youth. According to this specs sheet, Mi 8 Youth phone will sport a 6.26-inch display, and 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution. This further indicates that the latest smartphone will offer 19:9 aspect ratio as well as a notch.

Further, the list tells us that Mi 8 Youth will be a Snapdragon 710 chipset powered device, and will feature 6 GB RAM. The internal memory is, however, not very clearly mentioned on this spec sheet. Memory configurations of 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage is expected on Xiaomi Mi8 Youth edition.
For the smartphone’s optics, a single 12MP rear camera, as well as a 24MP front camera, have been mentioned. A 3,350mAh battery unit with Quick Charge 3.0 support could be seen fueling the device. The OS that might run this smartphone has not been leaked in this image. Earlier leaks had reported that MIUI 9.6 layered Android Oreo could be running the device. Colour options that could be available on this Mi 8 Youth include Space Gray, Gold, and Blue.

Simultaneously, another Xiaomi smartphone having model number M1808D2TE has also surfaced on TENAA, today. The TENAA listing speaks of similar specs on Mi 8X, as those listed on Mi 8 Youth Edition specs sheet.
