Xiaomi fans in India could see a big announcement coming their way in July. After inaugurating its Mi Home Store, first ever in India and the launch of the Redmi 4 smartphone, company seems to have started preparing for its next launch event which is expected to happen sometime in July. The information was hinted by Xiaomi India’s head Manu Jain in a tweet.

Mr. Jain, in his tweet, pointed out that Xiaomi held its first flash sale of previous three new products on the 23rd day of the month and each one has been super-successful. He put out an open-ended question – “wondering what should be sold on July 23”. This invariably means that Xiaomi will be bringing in its next smartphone some day in July and the said handset will go on a flash sale on July 23.

Though Jain didn’t put out the name of the upcoming smartphone, it appears to be either Xiaomi Mi 6 or the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. It’s worth mentioning here is that ever since the launch of Mi 5 early last year, Xiaomi is yet to launch a premium smartphone in India.
